“If I know what love is, it is because of you.” -Herman Hesse

Francis and Erin's love story began a few years back when she befriended Francis's brother. The two became close friends and one day while flicking through some photos online, a photo of Francis caught her eye. She immediately said "I want to meet him."

The couple were set up and they immediately clicked. They started spending more and more time together and as Francis described "I just wanted to spend more and more time with her. Like, I didn't want to ever be apart." Their love grew and one day Francis popped the question by hiding the ring in Erin's favorite pizza one night. They had a small ceremony in Korea which in Francis's culture is called a "blessing ceremony" and are planning to have a wedding back in Canada someday. Through all the craziness they hadn't had any wedding pictures done yet and Erin contacted me to document their love.

We met on a cloudy autumn afternoon and we were lucky enough to catch the very last of the foliage in the 5.18 memorial park in Gwangju.

After playing around in the leaves, Francis and Erin glammed up their clothes and we all headed downtown. We went up on the roof of Barim (a local art haven) and caught the last of the sunset over Gwangju and looked at the beautiful city lights.

Francis and Erin thank you so much for a fun afternoon! We had a great time with the two of you and once again, congratulations on your marriage and many blessings for the future!
